We made it! Another year in the books – some good, some bad – and we here at the Rainbow SemDems Democratic Caucus look forward to another year helping advocate politically for issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community.  It was a tough election cycle, but we did have some successes! One of note: we protected the SCPS School Board from being overtaken by the #MomsForLunacy by installing two new Democratic Party members and LGBTQ Advocates: Autumn Garick and Kelley Davis – woo hoo! Our other Dem, LGBTQ Advocate, and current School Board member Kristine Kraus was also elected as the Chair. Great news for our students, teachers and parents!

We look forward to working with all of our members in the upcoming year while we continue the work, and to that end, if you haven’t already renewed your membership – please do so today!  We have four levels of membership available. Please review them carefully and renew at the level that best suits your ability to participate and contribute.  And if you have friends who haven’t joined yet – invite them! Remember – we welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies (or as Rep Anna Eskamani calls them – accomplices. Love that.)
